Regretfully the contest must cancel this year due to lack of aircraft. One Super Decathlon was secured, but at least two more are needed to make the contest work out. Hopefully it will be back next year!
The 4th Annual Super D Tango Aerobatic Contest at Akroville will be Saturday, July 14th!!
This is the most fun contest. Leave your expensive toys at home. Everyone flies a Super Decathlon with or without a safety pilot. This is your chance to fly against the big boys for bragging rights. No practice flights. You go cold turkey and we get to see what you are made of. Bring your bedroll and tent and sleep out under the stars. Come enjoy the smooth grass strip and the Woods beautiful hangar home. Hope to see you in Texas on July 14th.
Registration: $200-includes airplane fee/parachute/headset/fuel/food!! Just bring YOU!!
