FAA Exemption Letter to carry less than VFR Fuel during aerobatic practice

You do not need this letter at a contest since the Contest Director maintains a copy of it.  However, if you are practicing, you may want to carry a copy of it with you.  Attached is a copy for download.

This exemption allows IAC members to carry less than the visual flight rules (VFR) fuel requirements under certain conditions and be exempted from carrying the aircraft flight manual during aerobatic competition and aerobatic practice flights.

This exemption is valid through June 30, 2024.
