Super D was cancelled but High Planes Hotpoxia was fun!

Since Chapter 24 had to cancel the Super D this year,

several of us attended the Chapter 12 contest in Sterling

Colorado last weekend!

It was a very well run contest with 24 competitors including

9 from the Metro State University Flight School coached by

Dagmar Kress!! It’s great to see so many new aerobatic pilots!!

Chapter 24 came home with 2 First Place Trophies! Tom Rhodes

won Intermediate and David Valaer won Sportsman!

Next year we plan on having the Super D July 13! And we

still hope to attend the Hotpoxia Airfest which they say will be on

a different weekend so we all can do both!
