2020 Lone Star Red Star Formation Clinic at Lancaster Airport (KLNC) April 16-19

Through David Valaer and Ed Kettler, any IAC24 Member has an open invitation to attend this year’s Lone Star Red Star’s Formation Clinic!

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to learn more about formation flying or work toward their formation card!  The instructors are high caliber such as F-117 and F-16 fighter weapon school graduates.

This is limited to low wing aircraft like the Extra due to the challenge of visibility for formation work with Pitts or Decathlon type aircraft.   David Valaer will be making multiple flights in his CAP 10 and will be working with the instructor pilots.

For $80 is is an amazing value for 4 days of instruction in your own aircraft!

For the ground school portion only it is $40 and it includes one back seat ride in a Yak or other type aircraft in a formation flight.  This will help us if we do a simple “fly up initial” formation flight when we go to competitions as a group!  Ground School is Thursday 8am-2pm.
