Wings over Paris Thank You
I’d like to extend a huge thank you to IAC Chapter 24 members who came out to Paris on May 14th and supported our airshow!
Chapter members Carl Best, Curt Richmond, Adam Baker, Chet Kuhn, Dave Honaker, Russell Husbands, Randy Henderson, and Kate Kyer all flew in the show.
Paul Richmond joined his dad Curt on the runway in an epic motorcycle race!
Our Young Eagles Rally was a huge success! We flew 93 Young Eagles, with Pat Kyer and Ron Barson flying many, many kids in our Cessna 180.
Chris Mundorf, Jamie & Maggie Richmond, and the entire Richmond family came out in force to cheer us on!
All told, estimated attendance was 3,000+, perhaps more. They ran out of parking space-something to address for next year!
Thanks again to everyone who came out and supported Paris’ first airshow.
Please mark your calendar for Bonham Festival of Flight on October 22nd! We will have another Young Eagles Rally, and lots of other fun activities planned in addition to the airshow.
